download (9)It is important to address your boss with respect and communicate that the restructure is something you require in order to become more productive and increase revenue for your company. Constant interruptions by coworkers, slow computers or ergonomically incorrect furniture will only decrease the amount of time that you are able to work productively.

Finding balance in your family also means that children and spouses will be involved in the process of organizing daily tasks or nightly activities. It is helpful to use a single calendar, placed in strategic location, in order to organize activities for all family members. Family members should be aware that anything they wish to accomplish or wish to attend should be written on the family calendar. In this way it is easier to plan meals, plan carpools and driving as well as decrease the risk of having three events in one night with only two parents who can attend.

Organizing your life is a process that starts when you recognize organizational skills will only help to improve your productivity and when you are willing to make significant and specific changes in the way in which you do things. You can organize your life from your closets to your boss but unless you’re willing to follow through on the changes, and meet obstacles with a positive attitude, these organizational changes won’t be nearly as fun or exciting as you might have hoped.
